Ben Nedd
FounderBen Nedd was born in 1946 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Ben spent much of his early adult life working abroad as a security guard. Even while maintaining a regular job, he was always looking for ways to create opportunities. On the side, he organized house parties and boat rides, building a reputation for bringing people together and providing memorable experiences.
After sustaining a disabling injury while on the job, Ben returned home to St. Vincent. Rather than allowing the setback to define him, he used it as motivation to build something of his own. In 1995, he founded Ben’s Auto Rental with just two vehicles. Through dedication, persistence, and an unwavering commitment to quality service, he steadily grew the business into one of the island’s most respected rental companies.
At its peak, Ben built a fleet of 37 vehicles, an achievement he took great pride in. He believed that every car in the fleet deserved the same level of care and attention, no matter its size or value. Each vehicle was meticulously maintained and polished, reflecting the high standards he set for his business.
More than anything, Ben believed in treating customers like family. His warm personality and genuine care for people made customers feel welcomed and valued. Those who knew him understood that his generosity extended far beyond business.
Ben had a particularly special bond with his grandson, whom he deeply loved and mentored. That grandson would eventually grow into the person responsible for carrying on his legacy by running the company today.
Ben Nedd’s vision, resilience, and dedication laid the foundation for what Ben’s Auto Rental has become—a business built on pride, trust, and exceptional service. His legacy continues to live on through the company he created and the family who continues to honor his name.
Kamari was born in New York and raised in Georgia. After the passing of his grandfather, he made the decision to come to St. Vincent to continue the family business his grandfather built and carry on the family legacy by helping run Ben’s Auto Rental.
Running Ben’s Auto Rental is more than just a job for Kamari, it’s a responsibility and a legacy. He takes pride in making sure every vehicle is dependable and every customer has a smooth, stress-free experience from the moment they book to the moment they return their car.
Family has always been a big part of who Kamari is, and that mindset carries into how he approaches the business. He believes in treating people with respect, honesty, and genuine care.
Outside of work, Kamari enjoys training Muay Thai, staying active, and spending time with family. His goal is to continue growing the business while honoring his grandfather’s vision and providing reliable transportation people can trust.

Born in St. Vincent, Don Antoine is the only child of Ben Nedd, founder of Ben’s Auto Rental. Having been around the business for over 20 years, he learned firsthand from his father the values of discipline, consistency, and treating every customer with care.
Now based between New York and St. Vincent, Don brings a wider perspective while staying deeply connected to his roots. His love for St. Vincent and passion for its growth continue to drive his involvement in the business.
He looks forward to contributing to bigger and better opportunities, helping to elevate both Ben’s Auto Rental and the standard of service within his beautiful country, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
